A street in Bellas Vistas named after a person whose identity was never documented.
The street runs through Bellas Vistas, meeting Leñeros and Numancia, within the steep, broken grid that marks the neighborhood, a working-class extension that grew from the last third of the 19th century, when newcomers to Madrid sought land cheaper than the center’s.
Anyone reading the sign today is left with a street that hides its own name: a faceless Alejandro Rodríguez, lost among the many anonymous residents who shaped this corner of old Tetuán de las Victorias.
